Just finished a fun painting of a sakura tree. The trunk is not like a sakura tree though. Artistic license :P

New painting yay! trying to be more gestural in my brushstrokes. time to move on to another landscape, i think.

Here's a couple of paintings i did for a recent animation competition, a collaboration with Matt Osborne. I've been trying to give my digital paintings a traditional watercolour feel, to make it look hand painted. I guess I could've actually hand-painted these, but I wanted to see how far I could mimic that look digitally.
